ALBERT - McGUIRE FAMILY CEMETERY
DeKalb County, Georgia

Transcribed by Mary West, February 2001

This cemetery is located off Giles Rd -- if going north on Wellborn take a right onto Giles and the cemetery will be on the left. It covers a large area but the graves are all situated on the far left and far right. None are in the middle. There is no sign of any sort. I got the name of the cemetery from the Tri-Cities Funeral Home who had recently buried someone there.

This is an African American cemetery and many of the headstones are the kind provided by the funeral homes. The name of the home may be featured on the stone in quotations such as “Cox” or “Haugabrooks”. The cemetery is not too well maintained and some stones are too damaged to read. The transcription begins on the far left and moves to the right.
