<P>Am trying to make a connection between WILLIAM KING b:2 May 1811 in N.C. and died in 1890 in Barbour Co. Alabama and the DEVANE-KING family of Dallas Co.I found a notation in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Records of Barbour Co. that he was the cousin of William Rufus King of Dallas Co. WILLIAM KING was in Ala by 1835 and was married to MARY BAKER. If anyone can toss me a bone I'll be so grateful.
