Hi List, I'm new here..first time posting to this mailing list, and I'm sure it's as friendly as the rest. My sister-in-law, Deborah Cowans hasn't a clue as to the 'COWANS FAMILY' in Dallas County Alabama. Her G. Grandfather's name was Sid Cowans married to a Francis? To this union, they had (a couple) a son, by the name of Sidney, who, married(?) a lady by the name of Francis? Francis, later married a 'Peterson.' I would like to know if anyone out there has a census record for 'Sardis, Dallas County, Alabama,' for the years of (most likely) 1910 or 1920 with the family of Sid and Francis Cowans?'
