1. 31 March 1999: Learned from a cousin last week that Robert's son and my uncle, Earl Lee Norris, once told him that Robert had a brother named John Hayes. I was totally stunned having never heard that name before. However, I immediately threw myself into a furious search for at least a lead, a nibble, something that I could follow. As of today I haven't found anything. Speculation department: Is it possible that Hayes is really Hazel? Hmmmm. Will have to follow through on that.
